Kaitlyn Gregoire, LCSW

Hi! I’m Kaitlyn (I go by Kaitlyn, but Kait is also acceptable).

I have always found that the macabre and fantasy worlds offer a strange sense of peace- maybe because they make our real-world struggles feel a bit more manageable. In my free time, you can find me watching horror movies or reading a fantasy novel. I am a reformed hyper-independent woman, as well as a teen who was labeled “hateful, mean and problematic" before anyone took the time to peel back those layers and discover WHY those walls were present, so I know the exhausting hustle of pretending you have it all figured out. I don’t always have my shit together, but I’ve done the work to know how to easily get back on track. I have a big personality, but I have learned to embrace my “much-ness,” and like to often remind myself with my daily mantra that “Nothing is ever that serious.” I exercise my anger at the current state of the world by walking 2.5 miles everyday with my 4 dogs and blasting my feminine rage playlist.

I became a therapist because I believe true strength isn't found in going at it alone, but in learning who you can trust to walk alongside you. This is the core of my work with both hyper-independent women and families with struggling teens. Having navigated my own journey from self-reliance to secure connection, I’m passionate about teaching those skills. For parents, I provide a roadmap out of the constant worry and conflict and back to a place of connection with their teen.

My background and training are focused on giving you practical tools that create change.

A bookshelf with academic books, a candle, a framed Indiana University Master of Social Work degree diploma, and a black and white hand-shaped plant holder with a small black pot. The diploma is in the center, surrounded by books on social work and military topics, with a candle on the left and a decorative plant holder on the right.
